Barguna Technical Training Centre (TTC) is a government-run vocational training institute under the Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment of Bangladesh. It is dedicated to developing skilled manpower by offering modern technical education and training to the local population.

Overview:

Location: Sadar Upazila, Barguna District, Bangladesh
Operated by: Bureau of Manpower, Employment and Training (BMET)
Affiliation: Ministry of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment
Purpose: Skill development, self-employment, and overseas job opportunities for youth

Training Programs Offered:

Barguna TTC offers short-term (typically 3-month) and long-term vocational training in various trades, including:

Computer & Information Technology
Electrical & Electronics
Civil Construction
Garments / Sewing Machine Operation
Motor Driving & Basic Maintenance
Automobile Mechanics

Each course is designed to prepare trainees for employment in local and overseas markets

Upon successful completion of the training, participants receive certificates issued by BMET.
Trainee information is uploaded to the “Ami Probashi” app to facilitate job placements, especially abroad.
