Position: Executive (Transport).

Job Description / Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all components of the vehicle are properly maintained and inspected frequently.
- Design Periodical maintenance program for all vehicles for ensuring better service, run ability and longevity.
- Ensure proper inventory of all distributed items of vehicles and checked frequently.
- Monitor daily, weekly and monthly stocks of spare parts, fuel, oil, lubricants, etc.
- Ensure denting, painting, body fabrication and major overhauling of all vehicles.
- Manage pick & drop services for staff/faculty and students every day in different routes.
- Route optimization initiatives for better service and provide analysis for continuous improvement of the transport service for students, staff and faculty members.
- Monitor and supervise BRTA related jobs update (renewal of documents) and maintain record accordingly.
- Recruit drivers, mechanics & helpers with the help of the HR & Admin department.
- Prepare & assign Work Schedule/Duty Chart/Log book for all drivers, helpers, and mechanics.
- Ensure driver management, fuel management and supervision.
- Prepare monthly budget, monthly expenditure report and reports as when required by the management.
- Responsible for the overall vehicle bill process.
- Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.
Job Nature: Full Time
Job Location: Varendra University, Rajshahi.
Required Qualifications:
- Diploma/B.Sc. in Mechanical/Automobile/Transport engineering.
- Minimum 2nd class/Division or CGPA/GPA should be at least 3.50 out of 5.00 or 3.00 out of 4.00 at every stage of education.
Required Experience:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in automotive workshop/vehicle management and transport operation.
- Practical knowledge in transport management and maintenance.
Additional Requirements:
- Age at most 35 years.
- No 3rd class will be accepted.
- Computer literacy is must.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, efficiently and meet deadline.
- Positive & pro-active attitude towards work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Salary:
