BBA ADMISSION TEST | 32nd Batch | Session: 2023-2024

BBA Admission Test (Session 2023-24) of the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka will be held on Saturday. 10 February 2024 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

1. For Applicants Who Have Passed SSC and HSC or Equivalent Exams:

Candidates who have passed their HSC or equivalent exam held in 2023 are eligible to apply for 2023-2024 academic session. They must have a minimum 8.0 as total of SSC & HSC GPA (including the 4th subject) and secure at least 3.5 GPA in both the exams.

2. For Applicants Who Have Passed IGCSE/ O-Level and IAL/ GCE A-Level or Equivalent Exams:

Candidates who have passed IGCSE/ O-level exam with at least 5 subjects (including Mathematics) and IAL/ GCE A-Level exam in at least 2 subjects (final result of at least one subject of IAL/ GCE A-Level must have been published in 2023) are eligible to apply. Out of the 7 subjects in IGCSE/ O-Level and IAL/ GCE A-level, candidates should get minimum 2 A grades, 3 B grades and 2 C grades.

Candidates from O-level, A-level or from any other board outside the country have to obtain “Equivalence Certificate” from DU at the beginning of their application process. To get equivalence certificate, please visit the DU admission website: https://admission.eis.du.ac. bd. If an applicant faces any difficulty to obtain “Equivalence Certificate from DU, s/he is advised to contact “IBA Helpdesk” immediately.

3. No candidate is eligible to sit for this year’s admission test, if s/he has appeared in any admission test of the University of Dhaka, including IBA in 2023 or before.

SELECTION PROCEDURE

All Bangladeshi applicants must sit for the Admission Test. The test has two components: Written and Communication. The components of the Written Test evaluate applicant’s aptitude in English Language, Mathematics, and Analytical Ability. In order to pass the Written Test, an applicant must obtain a minimum qualifying score in all sections. Applicants will be selected for the Communication Test on the basis of their performance in the Written Test.

Foreign nationals with a score of at least 1300 out of 1600 in SAT (with at least 600 in Math and 575 in Reading and Writing) may be exempted from the Written Test, but must appear in the Communication Test.

HOW TO APPLY

The application must be submitted online (at http://admission.eis. du.ac.bd) starting from Monday, 01 January 2024 (from 4:00 PM) to Monday, 22 January 2024 (till 1:00 PM).

Application fee of Tk. 1500/- is to be paid by Monday, 22 January 2024 (till 3:30 PM). Admit card can be downloaded from Wednesday, 31 January 2024 to Wednesday, 07 February 2024 (till 3:00 PM).

Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka, with support from ICTD, BCC and LICT has
launched an executive training program – Advanced
Cerllf!Cllffl for ManagtN11tmf Professionals (ACMP) .t O­
for middle management professionals in the IT/ITES industry. Starting from October 2017, IBA has so far trained 520 such professionals from 101 companies. Given the success of the program and resultant demand, IBA, with support from GoB,is going to take a new cohort of trainees during spring 2019.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The ACMP 4.0 is for management professionals in the IT/ITES Industry. The Participants should have graduation degree and at least have-

• 2 years of experience after graduation and must supervise a team of 5 Employees or,
• 5 years of overall relevant experience after graduation

COURSE HIGHLIGHTS

• 150 direct contact-hours,spread over 3 months
• Classes will be held 2 days a weekfrom 9:00 am to 5:00 pm,on Saturdays and Sundays

Only shortlisted applicants will be called for the assessment test (written and personal interview) to be held on 4 and 5 February,2019

CERTIFICATION

On successful completion of the course,participants will be awarded cert.ificates issued by MOP, IBA, University of Dhaka.

CURRICULUM

The curriculum is designed with inputs from distinguished faculty members of IBA, University of Dhaka, llM­ Ahmedabad,llT-Delhi,and IT/ITES industry leaders.

RESOURCE PERSON

The classes will be conducted by faculty members of IBA,
University of Dhaka, other academic institutions and industry.

COURSE FEE

The course fee of this program is BOT 150,528 (One Lakh Fifty Thousand Five Hundred and Twenty Eight Taka) only. However, since the program is subsidised by the Government of Bangladesh, the participants and/or employers/sponsors will have to pay only BOT 30,528 (Thirty Thousand Five Hundred and Twenty Eight Taka) as tuition.
