Nurse

Key Selling Points: Provide nursing services to Forcefully Displaced Myanmar Nationals (FDMN) in PHC and health post managed by the Joint Rohingya Response Program (JRRP).

Job Responsibilities

Key Result #1: Direct nursing care
Ensure nursing care of the patients in health facility 24/7;
Initiate emergency treatment, stabilization of patients, ensuring adequate patient monitoring in all medical departments as per SOP and National Guidelines;
Dressing of wounds, minor injuries, skin infections, and administration of drugs as prescribed by Doctors;
Responsible for maintaining excellent infection control standards in the facility level;
Support the activities of other nurses and doctors;
Triage at the beginning of the clinic work along with Clinic Lead/Supervisor (visual assessment);
Support pharmacy and dispensing medicines from dispensary;
Observe and adhere to universal medical ethics.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Nursing

Experience Requirements

At least 2 year(s)
The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Clinical Care Nurse

Strong people management skills / interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, teach and mentor staff and volunteers;
Medical fitness to live and travel in rural and urban areas with extreme conditions and limited medical support;
Resilience and ability to cope with stress;
Proven flexibility to perform task and take initiative;
Ability to cope with stress and working in the camp environment;
Flexibility to perform other tasks and take initiative when required;
Ability to travel to insecure countries or locations.
