Position: Sales Man

Major Jobs & Responsibilities:

• Major responsibilities included import related banking/ commercial activities, communication with vendors/ suppliers and agents ensuring timely supply of quality goods/ supplies required for different departments/ units of the group
• Invite, assess, and award/recommend supplier tenders, bids, quotations, and proposals.
• Establish and negotiate contract terms and conditions, and maintain supplier relationships.
• To plan out procurement and execution of the approved plan
• To collect indents/ requisition for each quantity requirement, conduct comparative analysis , select competitive suppliers, relevant correspondence and obtain approval of the authority
• To visit markets at times and search vendors/ suppliers for quality goods / supplies with reasonable prices.
• Coordinate the delivery of materials by the suppliers and their payment and ensure that products meet quality, cost, and schedule objectives.
• Prepare and maintain purchasing records, reports and price lists.
• Conduct various market surveys and generate reports on findings
• Update prospective vendors, retailers, suppliers database on regular basis
• Monitoring the goods movements.
• Following up of receiving the goods.
• Ensuring and confirming that required quality and quantity of goods are timely received by the respective authority.
• Addressing complain of supplied materials and ensure replacement of rejected materials.
• Other functions relevant to develop business & market.

Educational Requirements
MBA/ Masters in Economics, Finance/Engineering Background from reputed university. Diploma in Supply Chain Management will be added advantage.

Experience Requirements

• Candidates must have 3/4 years similar working knowledge in ERP & import related experience in reputed company/ organization.

• Should be a proactive & self-organized person with long career commitment.
• Must have good analytical skills and good computer literacy.
• Must be proficient in English & have good communication skill.
