Deputy General Manager (DGM)-Production, Composite Knit Under Garments Factory.

Job Context:

An energetic & enthusiastic personality with self-driven competency for taking challenges, are highly required for the position of Production, Planning & Coordination of ROMO Fashion Today Limited.

Job Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize & Lead production facility of 30 lines of Knit under garments and kids items unit with least use of manpower as topmost challenge;
• Assist production planning with technical aspects accuracy and using latest technical knowhow.
• Also leading sampling and pattern division regarding minimizing any technical error and accuracy for bulk production
• Ensure implementation of best garments manufacturing practices in the RMG Unit using best tools & techniques for increasing production efficiency with lowest cost and wastages;
• Able to take initiatives and understand how to work manage the critical paths of delivery;
• Achieve plant objectives in Optimizing Efficiencies (Improve Man Machine Ratio, Cut to Shift Ratio, Production Efficiency);
• Ensure Timely Shipments; constantly guide the teams for ensuring high productivity and quality;
• Coordinate with managers for smooth execution of apparels production in the factory as per the buyer’s specifications;
• Improve profitability by identifying cost reduction opportunities through integrated production planning, information support and analysis;
• Update information on technical operations and cost parameters at every stage of the production process;
• Monthly performance status report preparation and submission to the Management with uprising production volume and efficiency

Employment Status: Full-time

Educational Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Textiles Eng. /equivalent.

Experience Requirements:

• At least 10 year(s)
• The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
  • Production Management (Sewing), Production planning, Production technical area, Sportswear Swimwear and Lingerie., Undergarments for ladies and gents and kids

Additional Requirements:

• Age 40 to 50 years

Job Responsibilities:

• Monitoring & controlling the IE related activities of a knit under-garments factory of having 100% export oriented Garment business for world class buyers.
• Design & layout of Man, Machine and Materials to achieve maximum efficiency.
• By Time Study determining capacity of operators (workers) and planning improvement
• Preparing workers skill matrix and monitoring production.
• Preparing Operation Breakdown/Layout & calculate Man power & Machinery
• Monitor the work floor for Maximum utilization of Man & Machine
• Apply statically methods and perform mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing process, staff requirements and production standards.
• Prepare monthly manpower projection.
• Labor cost analysis & improve the standard.
• Conducting of time study and motion study and idle man machine hours on daily basis.
• Efficiency calculation of all workers on daily & monthly basis and take necessary initiative to increase individual efficiency.
• Finalize capacity charts, create the loading, receiving & finishing plans & to manage deviations within the planning process.
• Reviewing production schedules, engineering specification, orders and related information to obtained knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures and activities.
• Any others related work of this position and also assign by the management.
• Ensure a very significant role to increase productivity with standard.
• Lead the team with proper guidance & leadership skill along with assessing subordinates & developing all to result oriented performer as match with company expectations.
• Keeping updated with all the Information of the area assigned & Maintain Daily IE related reports
• Maintain liaison with planning & IE for productivity improvement and input.
• Any other assignment as assigned by the Management.
• Report to Chairman

• B.Sc in Industrial & Production Engineering from a reputed university.

Experience Requirements:

• At least 5 year(s)
• The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
  • Floor Line Management, Production Management (Sewing), Industrial & Production Engineering, Production planning

• Age 35 to 40 years

• Working experience in industrial engineering with knit under-garments factory.
• Leadership Quality with positive attitude & having ability to take decision independently.
• Organizing & Managing ability with problem solving & analytical skills
• Must have excellent computer knowledge with English communication skill
