Aga Khan Education Service, Bangladesh operates The Aga Khan School, Dhaka which is one of the leading English Medium Schools in Dhaka offering the International Baccalaureate (IB) Program, Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Diploma Program (DP) as well as the Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) IGCSE and A-Levels program.

We are seeking applications from qualified individuals for the following position:

Dean of Studies

A leadership role with whole school responsibility for the development of Academy’s teaching and learning quality, implementation of programmes relating to the Academies’ vision and mission –

• Master’s degree in an education related field
• 20+ years’ experience in the field of IB with at least 10+ years’ experience as Academic Coordinator
• Knowledge and understanding of IB Programmes, experience as classroom instructor for MYP and will be an added advantage
• Knowledge of authorisation and evaluation frameworks
• Ample exposure in curriculum implementation & quality of assessment

DP Coordinator

• Master’s degree in an education related field
• 15+ years of experience in the field of education, 8 years in a similar role
• IB-DP Examiner, or IB Evaluation programme leader, or any other external designations/recognitions
• Unit Planning, Knowledge Society and Ethics, Differentiated Teaching, Approaches to Teaching and Learning, and Assessments for Learning (AFL)
