Varendra University is a private university in Rajshahi, Bangladesh. It obtained approval from the Ministry of Education on March 14, 2012, and from the University Grants Commission on March 20, 2012, under the Private University Act of 1992 and was the first UGC approved private university in Rajshahi.

Job Description / Responsibilities: Teaching and Research

Job Nature: Full Time

Educational Qualifications:

04 (four) year Honors with 01 (one) year Masters in Business Administration (Major in Finance/Management/Marketing), English, Economics, Islamic History & Culture, Journalism Communication & Media Studies (JCMS), Political Science, Sociology and Pharmacy from any reputed university.

04 (four) year B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering (CSE), Electrical & Electronic Engineering (EEE) / Mechatronics Engineering and Nutrition & Food Engineering (NFE).

GPA 4.50 out of 5.00 in SSC and HSC and CGPA 3.50 out of 4.00 in Honors and Masters.

Experience Required:

Candidates having teaching/research experience in reputed universities will be given preference.

Additional Requirements:

Possess excellent communication skills both in English and Bengali.
Good presentation and demonstration skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of students.
Interested in research and publications.
Ready to work at Rajshahi.

Age: Maximum 32 years. However, age may be relaxed for the exceptional candidates.

Salary: As per Varendra University pay structure.
