Being one of the largest commercial bank of Korea, Woori Bank started its operation in Bangladesh in 1996. During last 22 years in Bangladesh, the Bank expanded its network with 05 Branches (Gulshan, Mirpur, Uttara, Narayanganj, and Chittagong) and 01 Customer Service Centre in DEPZ, Savar. The Bank also diversified its portfolio in both Retail and Corporate Banking services to its customer with premium service quality.

Position: Officer/ Senior Officer

Job Responsibilities

Conduct a thorough analysis of credit applications and assess the creditworthiness of individuals or businesses applying for loans or credit lines.
Evaluate financial statements, credit history, and other relevant data to determine the level of risk associated with extending credit.
Determine appropriate loan terms, interest rates, and collateral requirements based on the risk assessment and bank policies.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal policies governing lending practices, such as Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations.
Monitor the performance of existing loans and credit lines, identify potential risks, and take appropriate actions to mitigate losses.
Communicate with customers to gather additional information, explain lending decisions, and negotiate terms when necessary.
Prepare and review loan documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness to protect the bank’s interests.
Collaborate with other departments, such as sales, legal, and risk management, to ensure a coordinated approach to credit risk management.

Educational Qualification & Other Competencies

Master’s / Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Business discipline from any reputed Public/Private/Foreign University with good academic record of accomplishment.
Minimum Five (05) years of experience in reputed Banks; minimum Two (02) years of experience in credit of a Bank.
Proficiency in MS Office, Excel & Power-Point.
Excellent presentation and communication skills in both English and Bengali.
