Position: Manager – Commercial
We are looking competent, smart, result oriented, self-motivated, energetic, honest & sincere person for our Commercial Department.
Qualification:- Master’s degree in any discipline from any reputed University.
Experience:- At least minimum 10 – 15 year(s) experience. The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Commercial related experience, Import through L/C.
Job Description
- Organize the commercial team and lead them for performing all commercial activities in time.
- Negotiation with buyers for commercials issues like L/C clause, VAT, payment, acceptance, etc.
- All co-responding with suppliers for in time shipment, offer, PI etc.
- Liaison with the port authority, customs and VAT department to reduce assessment value and reduce import duty.
- Follow up of Import L/C and ensure proper HS code for timely clearance from customs and save additional cost.
- Monitoring renewal or amendment of all licenses.
- Everyday dealing with bank regarding trade issues (L/C, L/C amendment, Foreign Docs, Local payment), import loan, EDF loan, limit and charges.
- Follow up with shipping agent for the shipment schedule, approvals & making shipping documents as per LC or S/C requirement.
- Dealing with the C&F Agent, transporters, freight forwarder, remitting agent.
- Responsible to manage all commercial activities (e.g. issuance of PI, L/C open, amendment/correction, shipment etc.) through overseas phone and e-mail.
- Need to do Government license related work like IRC, ERC, Fire License, Trade License etc.
- Any other duties & responsibilities as assigned by the management.
