Netrokona University, formerly known as Sheikh Hasina University, is a public institution located in Netrokona, Bangladesh. Established in 2018, it offers programs across three faculties: Arts, Social Science, and Engineering & Technology. As of March 2024, the university comprises 17 departments and serves approximately 535 students.

In February 2025, the university underwent a significant change when it was renamed from Sheikh Hasina University to Netrokona University. This change was part of a broader initiative to remove names of the Bangabandhu and Sheikh families from 13 universities, as announced in a government gazette.

The university’s permanent campus is being developed on a 500-acre site near the city of Netrokona. Currently, it operates from temporary premises, with ongoing efforts to enhance facilities and infrastructure.
