Runner Footwear Limited’s manufacturing plant is located in Sreepur, Gazipur about 52 km of North of Dhaka. The plant has a production capacity of 60,000 pairs per month where 450 highly skilled and dedicated employees are working ceaselessly. We have an immediate expansion plan for another 40,000 pairs per month in the same unit. Furthermore, we are developing a land for another separate four line production unit to produce a capacity of 300,000 pairs per month.

Manager/ Deputy Manager, Quality Assurance

Educational Qualification

B.Sc. in Footwear/ Leather/ Leather Products Engineering with at least 5 year(s) experience / Engineering in any discipline may be relaxed for highly qualified candidates.

Jobs Responsibilities:

Develop quality control and assurance plans by identifying critical control points and preventive measures, and establishing critical limits.
Improve and maintain product quality by completing product, compliance and surveillance audits; investigating buyers’ complaints
Perform Quality Inspections at sites including per-qualification, In-process and pre-shipment.
Deal with all quality issues in production as well as buyers’ requirements
Meet the buyers’ in house Quality Assurance Officers regularly and ensure the best quality footwear.
Validate quality processes by Establishing product specifications and quality attributes; measuring production; documenting evidence; determining operational and performance qualification; writing and updating quality assurance procedures.
Prepare quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, recalls, corrective actions and re-validations.
Organize the use, repair, maintenance, modification and procurement of production equipment.
Work closely with maintenance department for equipment maintenance schedules and recommend the replacement of machines.
Maintain close collaboration with Research and Development division to ensure and implement technical information.
Develop and train the quality team for better understanding of buyers’ requirements and quality parameters for shipping the best quality products.
Meet quality assurance financial objectives by estimating and preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; initiating corrective actions.
Lead safety, quality and compliance activities in workplace.

Additional Requirements:

Proven experience in the similar position from any other reputed footwear manufacturing company.
Strong communication skills in English in both writing and speaking.
Strong organizational, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
Excellent knowledge on MS Office, email communication and internet.
