U.S. Embassy Dhaka is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Fraud Investigator.

The Fraud Investigator is a full-time investigator of visa and passport fraud. The position’s primary responsibilities include performing all tasks relating to the investigation, analyzing, and tracking of fraud prevention casework in support of consular Nonimmigrant Visas (NIV), Immigrant Visas (IV), and American Citizen Services (ACS) operations. Supports other consular section units as required.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Completion of bachelor’s degree in science, arts, or commerce (US equivalent two years of college or university studies) is required. (You must attach a copy of yourcertificates along with your application form.)
- A minimum of three years of work experience with any or all the following: administration, management, law, police investigations, claims investigations, fraud detection, visa or passport production.
- Language: Fluent (speaking/reading/writing) in English and Bangla is required.

The incumbent serves as the post’s nurse with responsibilities that include the medical care of Mission employees and eligible family members under MED approved clinical guidelines, as well as maintenance and inventory of all medical equipment and supplies, implementation of a robust vaccination program, administration of group and individual health education programs, and medical emergency contingency planning for the Mission. The incumbent will work in the Medical Unit under the direct supervision of the Regional Medical Officer (RMO) or Medical Provider (MP).
