House Manager
The U.S. Embassy Deputy Chief of Mission in Dhaka, Bangladesh seeks to hire a House Manager to work at the Official Residence in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The House Manager will oversee and direct the daily activities of Official Residence employees, to include cooks, bearers, and/or housekeepers; establish and maintain a record of daily work schedules for each staff member; supervise and direct the activities of Residence Staff during official functions and assist them with their duties, as required. Also, occasionally provides work guidance to the gardeners.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Completion of Higher Secondary School Certificate (H.S.C.). (You must attach a copy of your certificates along with your application form.)
- Minimum two years of demonstrated experience in hotel, restaurant, or executive household management.
- Ability to speak, understand, read and write English and Bangla fluently.

Cook
The U.S. Embassy Deputy Chief of Mission in Dhaka, Bangladesh seeks to hire a Cook to work at the Official Residence in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The Cook is responsible for preparing menus and foods complying with all applicable sanitation, health and personal hygiene standards. Prepare food for the DCM, family, and guests for breakfast, luncheons, teas, dinners and for special functions. Keep the kitchen work areas and kitchen equipment clean. Keep records of expenses, advise the DCM and house manager of needed kitchen supplies.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Completion of class eight. (You must attach a copy of your certificates along with your application form.)
- At least two years of professional experience of cooking in different styles and cuisines. Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
- Language: Ability to speak and understand English and Bangla fluently, and ability to read and write basic English.

Bearer
The U.S. Embassy Deputy Chief of Mission in Dhaka, Bangladesh seeks to hire a Bearer to work at the Official Residence in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

The Residence Bearer oversees all activities pertaining to the operation and maintenance of Deputy Chief of Mission Residence (DCMR). Responsible for maintaining the residence; dust, clean and vacuum the rooms; set and serve table; and polish silver and brass. Wash and press clothes and do other laundry. Greet guests at the door; assist the cook in preparing food, regularly serve food and drinks. Prepare floral arrangements for the residence. Prepare and arrange the residence for representational and non-representational functions.

U.S. Embassy Dhaka is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the position of Registered Nurse and Equivalent.

The incumbent serves as the post’s nurse with responsibilities that include the medical care of Mission employees and eligible family members under MED approved clinical guidelines, as well as maintenance and inventory of all medical equipment and supplies, implementation of a robust vaccination program, administration of group and individual health education programs, and medical emergency contingency planning for the Mission. The incumbent will work in the Medical Unit under the direct supervision of the Regional Medical Officer (RMO) or Medical Provider (MP).
